Our Services

Professional Development

We aim to create low to no barrier workshops by understanding different learning styles, providing accessibility without request, and when possible, providing free to low cost workshops and events to make sure everyone in our profession has access to quality education. If you don’t want to attend our workshops, we have a list of great places to meet your CEU requirements.

Consults and Trainings

We provide consults and trainings for hiring businesses that would like to improve their knowledge on topics such as trans inclusive language/care, mental health, D/deaf/Hoh/DB/D+/interpreter dynamics, how to streamline their interpreting request protocol, and how to make their workplace more equitable for those in the trans and or Deaf and hard of hearing communities.

Pro-Bono Interpreting

We are available to support and empower the D/deaf/Hoh/DB/D+ communities about their rights to access – especially for job interviews. If you are D/deaf/Hoh/DB/D+, and struggling to get an ASL interpreter for interviews, please contact us. This service is only offered to Deaf and hard of hearing community members per their request.

If you are a business, you must request an interpreter and pay the appropriate fees for service.

American Sign Language Interpreting

We provide ASL interpreting services in various settings such as but are not limited to: job trainings, medical settings, business meetings/retreats, legal, and court. Please contact us if you have a need, questions, or would like to learn more about our services.

ASL Interpreting Service Area

The Willow Tree Project provides ASL interpreting service and trainings throughout the Metro East area in Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. If you are unsure if we can provide ASL interpreting services or trainings in your area, please contact us.

The Willow Tree Project recognizes and acknowledges that the economic development, the construction, and the culture in all of our service areas and beyond is only possible because of those – primarily People of Color- who were forcibly enslaved, trafficked, and those that lost their lives.

The Willow Tree Project also recognizes the land we provide services on is the land of various Indigenous nations that were forcibly removed from and had their land stolen.
