Want to know what ecodormancy and endodormancy means and how to sign them!?
How about the sign for cannabis?
This workshop will teach the newly developed ASL signs for common terms in the plant sciences. Topics to be discussed will include Plant Structure & Function, Plant Growth & Development, Plant Reproduction, and Fun Plant Signs! These topics will be taught at the introductory level to start your journey of learning about plant sciences!
Educational Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Integrate conceptually appropriate signs to match various interpreting settings.
- Differentiate between fingerspelled terms and conceptually accurate signs.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 4 ASL signs for fundamental plant science concepts.
