Event Description

We will be having an ethical discussion focusing on organization’s and interpreter’s rate differentials and business standards. The goal of this discussion is to figure out ways to encourage businesses to utilize more effective means of interpreting.

Disclaimer: The Willow Tree Project intends to use this discussion to structure future business contracts.

Educational Objectives

Participants will be able to:

1. assess potential adjustments within contracts
2. modify individual and or organization business standards
3. devise an elevator pitch to discuss business standard adjustments
4. justify business standard adjustments to encourage business to utilize more effective means of interpreting

Format

We will be using Mentimeter for our polling and discussion prompts. Each question will have 7-10 minutes of discussion. After the first hour, we will have a breakout room to create elevator pitches then come back and share with the main room. Please make sure you join via a laptop or desktop to participate fully.
