General Questions
Does The Willow Tree Project provide practicum opportunities for those in their interpreting training programs?
Absolutely we do! We provide safe, low risk, yet real world opportunities to ITP students, folks waiting on test results, and or newly working interpreters that would like more experience. We do ask that you make sure you are following your state requirements if you aren’t a certified interpreter. These opportunities happen during our online workshops or locally here in St. Louis. We always ask consent from the Deaf and hard of hearing participants to utilize student interpreters or for public events advertise we will have certified interpreters working along side student interpreters.
If you are interested in these practicum opportunities or know your ITP could benefit from them, email us at interpreting@thewtp.org.
I would like to be involved in The Willow Tree Project, how do I make that happen?

Workshop Questions
What time zone are the workshops in?
All of our workshops are in Central Time zone.
Do you record your workshops?
We do not record any of our workshops. Best way to get the full experience and information is to attend live. If we get enough requests to repeat workshops, we can make that happen! Let us know at workshops@thewtp.org.
How do I register for your workshops?
We use a platform called Zeffy for our workshops and event registration. This platform is the same as buying tickets for a concert, show, or other event! Make sure you click “ADD +” to fully register. If you don’t click “ADD +”, you have NOT registered, you won’t show up on our attendee list, and will not receive workshop information.
I’m going to be a few minutes late/have to leave early. Can I still earn CEUs?
To earn CEUs, you must fill out an email, sign in, and miss no more than 10 minutes of a workshop.
Zoom monitors the time of each attendee. We do check that. Should you not meet these requirements – you will not receive CEUs.
I didn’t receive workshop information after I registered! Why?
- Not clicking the “ADD +” button at registration. This means you will not show up on our attendee list to send out information.
- Not having our email saved as a contact and it went to spam. All our workshop information, including certificates of attendance, will come from workshops@thewtp.org. Check your spam.
- Possible typo in the email provided at registration.
- You unsubscribed from Zeffy emails.
I forgot to fill out the evaluation/sign in sheet to get CEUs/certificate and it is past the deadline! Can you make an exception?
Only attendees that have filled out both the evaluation and sign in sheet will get CEUs/certificate of attendance. We will not fulfill or respond to email requests to add people who did not complete these before the deadline.
