We have various opportunities for folks (in and out of the signing communities) to join The Willow Tree Project and its efforts.
Check out the various topics and fill out the forms if something tickles your fancy!
Why TWTP?
How will being a part of TWTP benefit you?
Each time you mentor you will receive free entry into one workshop of your choice through TWTP.
You will be a part of the change you want to see in the profession.
You will grow as a person and as an interpreter.
Don’t have a lot of time to commit? No worries!
Mentoring: all you would need to do is show up to the event and provide feedback.
Presenting: fill out our application and submit your PowerPoint! Everything else will be handled by TWTP committees.
Committee Member: most of the work is done on your own through a Google Workspace app! Do what you can when you can.
Who we are looking for:
– Native ASL users (presenters and mentors)
– hearing mentors
– Comfortable with Zoom
– Handy with Google Workspace
– Willing to grow with a community for the greater good of the profession
